Description
Do you remember when the concept of technopop meant something? Luca Venezia, the person behind Curses, remembers perfectly. This German producer, musician and DJ lives artistically and spiritually settled in that final stretch of the 70s when record companies like Mute Records in Germany and Factory Records in the United Kingdom saw at the end of the tunnel a dance floor with post-punk and industrial reflections.
That is the dance floor Venezia continues to attend punctually with each release... and it has been almost fifteen years combining club electronics and rock sounds. Practically a decade and a half in which he even managed to seduce Johnny Jewel, the modern godfather of synth nostalgia, to edit his third album, Another Heaven, on his label Italians Do It Better in 2024. Accompanied on stage by bassist Dame Bonnet, Venezia will present the live dimension of his project. Get your tickets for CURSES at Sala Nazca!
