Iâm accused of exaggerating and inventing things in my arguments, of giving opinions without being informed. And of laughing at things I apparently shouldnât be laughing at⊠And, honestly, I plead guilty to it all.
But I donât care, because every night I keep getting on the stand to tell my best version of the facts, and my most controversial opinions, with a single argument in my favour: the laughter of the audience. So tonight the truth doesnât matter, but whether you decide to acquit me.
There will be a moment in the show when we swap roles. There is an extra hearing where people who want to participate put their case in writing: a coupleâs argument, a conflict with a friend, something you disagree with or would like to challenge⊠Thatâs when the rest of the audience and I will pass sentence.
The session is now open. Are you ready to see me lose the plot?
