Description
Two-hour guided tour of the Madrid of the Austrias and the Literary Quarter. The route covers those places in the historic center that refer to events and characters related to the so-called Spanish Black Legend. The purpose of the visit is to reflect on the anti-Spanish propaganda that we have assumed to be true and to contrast it with real facts and achievements that were hidden and that, historically, we have not known how to reivindicate. Those who intend to judge the events of the 16th and 17th centuries with today's sensibility or conscience are kindly asked not to make a reservation. Welcome are those who, without complexes, wish to confront the known facts with others less publicized. Nothing impoverishes our judgments more than ignorance. Dare you?
