1958, Paris, the Post-War Years. For years, Valerie La Voyante has hosted a reception at the Louvre for all the important Art Historians. Champagne is served, and waiters in elegant attire circulate with appetizers. No one from the high society wants to miss this event.
Art-loving ladies and gentlemen gather here to admire art. Everyone is celebrating exuberantly until Madame La Voyante announces the surprising news that the famous “Mona Lisa” has been forged. The crowd is shocked. The police are immediately involved to get to the bottom of this case.
Just as the crowd begins to settle, even more shocking news follows: A body!
