Description
In the near future, humanity is gripped by an epidemic caused by the drug VIOL, created to eliminate destructive instincts. Without aggression, humans become fragile and vulnerable, while bio-technical machines and chimeras take over and try to recreate what's left of humanity. With METAVIOLENCE, artist João Pedro Fonseca proposes a reflection on the boundary between the biological and the artificial, exploring themes such as identity, evolution and memory through a powerful and engaging visual language.
