Description
Born and raised in the heart of Miami, Jenny Perez is a first-generation American artist whose work is deeply informed by the city’s rich, multi-layered cultural landscape. Her vibrant aesthetic is rooted in her Caribbean heritage, shaped by the rhythms of Afro-Latinx traditions, and animated by the energy of Miami’s urban sprawl. 

Each painting is richly layers applied to sculptural canvas shapes. She creates regal figures who command space with presence and dignity. Painting from memory not from reference, makes each piece introspective and emotional. These works honor the complexities of lineage and transformation, reclaiming narratives often overlooked in the Western art historical canon. Jenny has shown in Dubai, Milan, New York City, Madrid and held a residency in Mexico City. We are excited to be showcasing her latest pieces in the city that got it all started.
