Live Aid 40

40 YEARS AGO, THE WORLD COMES TOGETHER THROUGH MUSIC TO FIGHT FAMINE IN AFRICA. LIVE AID WAS MORE THAN A CONCERT, IT WAS A GLOBAL CALL TO ACTION.

On October 30, 2025, Montreal will pay tribute to this legacy with a special anniversary concert at 9th, featuring iconic songs from the 1985 show, including songs by U2, Bob Dylan, Elton John, Queen and many more.
The house band will be joined by a line-up of prestigious artists, including Jake Clemons of the E Street Band, Steve Hill, Shane Murphy, Howard Bilerman, Jonas, Dawn Tyler Watson, and many other local legends.
Although progress has been made, the fight against hunger is far from over. Today, over 45 million children suffer from severe malnutrition, and recent cuts in global aid have put millions more at risk.
All proceeds from Live Aid 40 will go to MotherFood International, a Montreal-based non-profit organization that helps women entrepreneurs in vulnerable regions to produce and distribute culturally adapted fortified foods.
