An important life lesson….. Join The Mindfulness Project at 6 Fitzroy Square for an introductory workshop that will teach you the skills of self compassion, helping you to respond to difficult times in your life with kindness and care. Self-compassion sits at the heart of mindfulness and self-compassion skills help us to be kind and caring towards ourselves rather than being critical and judgemental. It allows us to feel connected to others when we suffer, rather than feeling isolated and alone. Unlike self-esteem, the good feelings of self-compassion do not depend on being special and better than other people; instead, they come from caring about ourselves and recognising that we all go through difficult times and it’s only human to get distressed on occasion. You will learn how to: Practice self-compassion and kindness in your daily life Decrease stress and anxiety Motivate yourself with kindness rather than criticism Handle difficult emotions with greater ease Support yourself during those times when you suffer, fail, or feel inadequate. Learn how to appreciate yourself A unique and rewarding experience to share with others! - The experience includes: 1 x ticket to workshop. - Price per person. - Ticket sales close 1 hour before the plan starts. - You can redeem your Fever ticket until 10.00am. - Present your Fever ticket at the entrance. - Attendees must be 18+. - Access subject to the rules and capacity of the establishment. - Ticket non-refundable.
