The Seattle Aquarium spans three buildings on Seattle's downtown waterfront: historic Pier 59, Pier 60 and the Ocean Pavilion. One ticket covers all three, from the sea otters and harbor seals of Puget Sound to the sharks and rays of The Reef, a 500,000-gallon Coral Triangle habitat, and the 360-degree Underwater Dome with 400,000 gallons of Puget Sound overhead.

Nine animal talks and feedings run daily, all free with admission, plus Puppet Storytime on Friday to Sunday. The Undersea Explorer VR experience and the Above The Reef behind-the-scenes tour are booked separately and cost extra.

Where can I find my ticket?

In the "Tickets" section of the Fever app, available on the Apple App Store and Google Play. Log in using the same method you used to buy. Your QR code is also in your confirmation email.

Can I change or refund my ticket?

All ticket sales are final and cannot be refunded, exchanged or otherwise modified.

How long should I plan for?

You can see the full Aquarium in around two hours. Many visitors stay longer for the daily talks, the cafe and the shops.

Where is the Aquarium?

1483 Alaskan Way, Pier 59, Seattle, WA 98101, on the downtown waterfront below Pike Place Market.

Can I bring my own food?

Yes. The back deck is the best spot, and there are designated indoor areas. Eating is not permitted in the Ocean Pavilion or at the harbor seal habitat.

Is there parking?

The Aquarium has no car park of its own. The Pike Place Market Garage has over 800 stalls with an elevator down to the waterfront, and the Platinum Parking Hillclimb Garage at 1422 Alaskan Way is directly across the street. Street parking on Alaskan Way is metered and limited to four hours. Parking is free with a valid City of Seattle disability placard.

Do young children need a ticket?

Children 3 and under enter free. From age 4 a ticket is required, with reduced pricing for ages 4 to 12.

Is the Aquarium wheelchair accessible?

Yes. All buildings, habitats and restrooms are accessible. Wheelchairs can be borrowed free from the Guest Services desks in Pier 59 and the Ocean Pavilion, first come first served, in exchange for ID and a phone number. There is an accessible drop-off zone on Alaskan Way.

Does my ticket cover the Ocean Pavilion?

Yes. One ticket covers Pier 59, Pier 60 and the Ocean Pavilion.

Is my ticket for a specific time?

Yes. Tickets are timed and valid for the date and entry time shown. Last entry is 5 PM.

Is there anything that costs extra?

The Undersea Explorer VR experience on Pier 59 is $9, with a minimum height of 42 inches. The Above The Reef behind-the-scenes tour is a separate 75-minute booking for a maximum of six people, age 6 and up, and includes general admission.

What is on during the day?

Nine animal talks and feedings run daily across the three buildings, all free with admission. They cover Washington waters, the tropical reef, harbor seals, the archipelago, marine mammal feeding, northern fur seals, sea otters, and Deep in The Reef at the end of the day. Puppet Storytime runs Friday to Sunday in Puget Sound Hall.
