🌟 It's worth listening to the music of Piedmontese artist Giorgio Poi out of context to truly appreciate its almost magical power: any space where his proudly Mediterranean pop plays is instantly imbued with authentic, certified Italian charm. Since his 2017 debut with Fa Niente, Poi has been paving shortcuts that lead straight to the heart of contemporary Italian songwriting: modern heir to the work of Lucio Dalla and Piero Ciampi. One of those shortcuts caught the attention of Phoenix, who invited him as a guest on several shows of their European Ti Amo tour the following year. The connection between the French band and the Italian vocalist is still alive today: he recorded his latest album, Schegge, with Phoenix guitarist and keyboardist Laurent Brancowitz. Giorgio Poi will present Schegge, the fourth album of his career, in Barcelona on September 22nd at La Nau.
