Full of Hell at La Nau, Barcelona 2025

🌟 They had barely been officially in existence as a band for five years and Full of Hell had already released three albums. Two of their own in 2011 and 2013 and a joint one hand in hand with Japanese noise project Merzbow in 2014. This is how they laid the foundations of how they understand music and life: to the fullest. Pennsylvania's metal proposal, not suitable for the faint-hearted, is always top-notch in both form and substance. When Full of Hell's grindcore turbine is running at full throttle, reducing noise, hardcore, death metal and industrial music to mincemeat, rock becomes a risky business. At first glance, works as extreme as Trumpeting Ecstasy or Weeping Choir seem to have as much zeal for dismemberment as the most fierce slasher, although Full of Hell have built their career on piecing parts together. As proof, his collaborations with the intrepid HEALTH, the shoegazers Nothing or the atypical pop star Nicole Dollanganger. The umpteenth demonstration of Full of Hell's unifying qualities is that next spring they will perform in Barcelona along with The Body, Jarhead Fertilizer and JAD: on April 17 at La Nau.
