Description
Lamentos Mestizos is a reinvented homage to traditional Mexican music. Under the direction of drummer Gonzalo del Val and with the soulful voice of Valentina Marentes, this quintet transforms the roots of the popular repertoire into a profoundly contemporary musical experience. Accompanied by internationally renowned musicians such as Paquito Cruz (piano), Benjamín García (double bass) and Luis Giménez (guitar), the group explores new sounds without losing the essence of the folklore that inspires them. Each song is a bridge between past and present, between pure emotion and musical refinement.
