🌟 La Plata were so often labeled with the prefix “post” (usually before “punk”) when they emerged on the Valencia music scene around 2017 that they’ve ended up as a peculiar post-everything group: they've found their place beyond rock and beyond electronic, beyond the physical and beyond the digital, beyond it all. María Gea (bass), Patricia Ferragud (synth), Miguel Carmona (drums), Salvador Frasquet (guitar), and Diego Escriche (guitar and vocals) operate in their own liminal space, one even their growing legion of imitators can't quite reach. Album by album, EP by EP, they’ve shaped this musical non-place to their liking, though they never get comfortable. The latest proof of their restlessness is Interzona, their third album, where all five members pour in what they’ve learned from other projects. One of Spain’s hit bands continues to evolve. La Plata will present Interzona on January 31st, 2026 at La Nau in Barcelona.
