🌟 Franco Battiato began the '80s singing from a lonely beach. More than thirty summers later, Iosonouncane and Daniela Pes find themselves in a similar setting—only now the sand is crowded with people. Their songs get lost among the voices and noise of tourists: the acoustic pollution that has invaded their native Sardinia. These two Sardinian artists, representatives of the most restless side of the Italian music scene, give voice to the suffocating flip side of the Mediterranean way of life. Their musical proposals carry an island spirit they can't shake due to their origin, though the postcards sent by Iosonouncane and Daniela Pes from Sardinia are far from idyllic. Industrial and experimental influences loom like dark storm clouds over a beach. After joining forces on *Spira*, the album produced by Iosonouncane with which Daniela Pes debuted in 2023, the two now come together in a double bill of sonic exploration: they will perform on November 6 at La (2) de Apolo in Barcelona.
