🌟 The Belair Lip Bombs began their career as a band hidden within Melbourne’s garage-rock scene, quickly becoming one of its best-kept secrets, until that secrecy was shattered with the release of their debut album, Lush Life, in the summer of 2023. This quartet, formed by Maisie Everett (vocals and guitar), Mike Bradvica (guitar), Jimmy Droughton (bass), and Liam de Bruin (drums), packed so many catchy hooks into their debut that even the vast expanse of Australia couldn’t contain them. They clearly needed more room to roam, sometimes drifting along at a slacker’s pace, other times charging ahead with punk-fueled urgency. Their journey led them to sign with Third Man Records, the American label founded by Jack White, which is set to release their second album. The quartet will present it on November 18th in Madrid (El Sótano).
