The Belair Lip Bombs at El Sótano, Madrid 2025

🌟The Belair Lip Bombs began their career as the best-kept secret on the Melbourne garage-rock scene, although that secrecy was soon blown wide open when they released their first album, Lush Life, in the summer of 2023. This quartet, made up of Maisie Everett (vocals and guitar), Mike Bradvica (guitar), Jimmy Droughton (bass), and Liam de Bruin (drums), packed so many sing-along choruses into their debut that the vast expanse of Australia became too small for them. They definitely needed more acres to keep moving toward the horizon, sometimes with a slacker jog and sometimes with a punk sprint. That path led them to sign with Third Man Records, the American label founded by Jack White, which will release their second album. The quartet will present it on November 18 in Madrid (El Sótano).
