General Info
📅 Date: from 24 July – 26 October 2025
🕒 Time: Monday–Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and Friday–Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. (doors close 15 minutes after the last session and the exhibition closes two hours after the last bookable time slot)
⏳ Duration: entry can be booked in 15-minute slots. Allow approx. 90 minutes for your visit, but feel free to stay as long as you like
📍 Location: Scottish Event Campus (SEC), Glasgow
👤 Age requirement: all ages are welcome! Anyone aged 15 or younger must be accompanied by an adult (18+). We recommend the Metaverse and VR experiences for children aged 5+. Children 0-3 go free (no ticket purchase necessary)

  • Very well put together with loads of info, artefacts and photos. The VR rooms were brilliant as well as the 360 degree story. The 3D film on enablement was interesting. Who knew your brain was pulled out through your nostril with a hook! Not to be missed. Very good for school children.
  • This was without doubt one of the best immersive experiences i have attended. There was so much to see and each part of the experience was surprising from reading about the history of Egyptian life, the discovery of Tutankhamun's chamber, amazing replicas of the wonderful things found in the burial chamber all the way through to the amazingly immersive journey through Egypt and two wonderful Virtual Reality experiences. It was worth every penny paid for the Exhibition and i would urge anyone with an interest in Egyptology to go and see it. Absolutely amazing.
  • It was excellent. Not too busy so there weren’t so many queues for the interactive parts. I enjoyed the reenactment of the mummification it explained how they did this without being too gruesome. And that each AI had an option to miss if one was experiencing dizziness. Very well thought out & thoroughly recommended. This would be a good school trip for maybe year six onwards.
