Tramhaus at Wurlitzer Ballroom, Madrid 2025

🌟 Music calls to music. And the members of the Dutch band Tramhaus know this well. “We always ran into each other at the same concerts, in the same rehearsal spaces,” they’ve said in interviews. It all came down to affinity… but also pure probability: after all, Rotterdam isn’t such a big city that they wouldn’t end up meeting and forming a band. When it comes to music scenes, Tramhaus could easily fit into that post-punk ecosystem that emerged about five years ago around The Windmill, the Brixton pub where Squid, Shame, and Black Country, New Road played their first gigs. The band’s debut album, The First Exit, speaks that same sharp and angular rock dialect. Tramhaus will present it on October 9 in Madrid (Wurlitzer Ballroom).
