Description
The Necks ' sound seems to come from the antipodes, both geographically and musically. His style moves between the British psychedelia of the late 60's (in the style of Pink Floyd), the jazz-rock of the 70's, American minimalism and the gliding electronics of German krautrock. Their sound proposal is a fascinating mixture of improvisation, repetition, gradual development and a hypnotic atmosphere, as if you were listening to a band playing at the end of a hallway at a party with dim lights and hallucinogens floating in the air. His music is as cerebral as it is physical, as meditative as it is intense.
