The Carl Orff - Carmina Burana concert comes to Rome to offer an unforgettable experience that blends music, dance and song into one extraordinary event. Under the direction of Maestro Lorenzo Macrì, the City of Rome Symphony Orchestra, together with the Accademia Vocale Romana Choir and the La Fenice Choir, will present one of the most famous and powerful works of the 20th century. Inspired by a collection of medieval poems, "Carmina Burana" explores universal themes such as love, luck and fate with overwhelming emotional force, thanks to Orff's genius. On stage, soloists Elena Memoli (Soprano), Enrico Torre (Countertenor) and Alessio Quaresima Escobar (Bass) will bring the unforgettable arias to life, while pianists Tei Kim and Alessandro Romagnoli will enrich the performance with the intensity of the piano sounds. Symphonic percussion, the beating heart of the work, will bring a unique rhythmic energy. To complete the experience, Minea De Mattia's choreography will infuse movement and theatricality into the performance, intensifying every note and word, and creating an atmosphere of pure magic.
