Times Square Swing Dance Flashbomb

Two years ago, Svetlana Shmulyian and The Delancey Five band set up an impromptu flash mob–style party on a Times Square traffic island for an unauthorized swing dance. This year, for their third "FlashBomb" they go legit with permits for a one-hour swing fest with DJ Douglas McMillan co-hosting the free event. It all takes place in Father Duffy Square, with plans to set up at the foot of the TKTS steps. For dancers, there's surely no more dramatic place to shimmy and shake than the crossroads of the world.
