Description
Maria, a young writer who has just become a mother, comes across the news of a shocking event: a French woman has drowned her 10-month-old twins in the bathtub. Maria becomes obsessed with the infanticide. Why did she kill them? From that moment on, the shadow of infanticide will loom over her as a chilling possibility. Mar Coll's third feature film, based on the novel Las madres no by Katixa Agirre, takes the story into an even more unsettling territory. A dramatic thriller with elements of body horror, it delves into the dark abyss that the experience of postpartum motherhood can become.
