THE MEDIUM - PABLO RAIJENSTEIN
For centuries, the figure of the medium has occupied an uncomfortable space between belief and our need to find meaning in that which we do not understand.
In The Medium, Pablo Raijenstein revives the imagery of the old spirit sessions and transforms it into a contemporary experience of mentalism, hypnosis, and stage mediumship. Mediumship is not only the possibility of connecting with what is no longer present. It is also a symbol: a bridge between the visible and the invisible.
As the experience progresses, the symbolism will begin to take shape before the audience, and a question will grow increasingly urgent: who is really reading whom?
The Medium explores that territory where an absence can become a signal or a memory into something that seems to be present once more.
Mentalism, mediumship, hypnosis, live music, and unexplainable phenomena create a theatrical experience inspired by the grand spiritist parlors of the past, where the audience is not merely observing—they can become part of what unfolds.
The show does not intend to tell you what exists on the other side. Only to leave you with a question: What if some absences never fully depart? Where absence ends, The Medium begins.
