About the Artists

Gareth Lubbe is a South African multi-instrumentalist, overtone singer, and former principal violist of the Gewandhaus Orchestra. Now a professor at Folkwang University, he has performed with Janine Jansen and Pinchas Zukerman at venues like Carnegie Hall. A master of overtone singing, he has taught at Juilliard and champions social initiatives in South Africa.

Hayden Chisholm is a New Zealand saxophonist known for his microtonal innovations and pure sound. He has composed for Rebecca Horn’s installations, won German Jazz Album of the Year, and founded BAM club in Belgrade. A dedicated educator, he gives masterclasses worldwide.
