Absolutely amazing experience!! Super interactive, very lively and engaging. Loved connecting with the characters and following along with the story line. All of the actors were very enthusiastic and played their role so impressively and convincingly! Would easily recommend this to anyone as it is an unforgettable experience, plus the cocktails are good!

Such a fun immersive experience! The setting had such great prison details! There were lots of opportunities to join in the narrative and carry on in the prisoners roles. The actors were awesome characters and the atmosphere was full of laughs and skullduggery. Great night!

Do I need to print my ticket?

No — you'll find your ticket, with its QR code, in the "Tickets" section of the Fever App or in your purchase confirmation email.

Is there an age requirement?

This experience only allows guests above the age of 18. Valid photo ID is required, and the experience involves alcohol consumption — please drink responsibly.

Is there a dress code?

Please wear light clothing. Before you enter you'll be given a provided orange jumpsuit to put on over your clothes, so you're easily identifiable to avoid escape until released. Jumpsuit sizes range from XS to 4XL and it's not compulsory to wear it fully — you can tie it around your waist instead.

Can I change the date of my ticket? Are refunds allowed?

This experience allows date changes up to 48 hours in advance — contact us with your ticket ID, or use the "Change date and/or time" button on your ticket in the Fever App if available. Refunds are not allowed, except as required under Australian Consumer Law.

Can I transfer my tickets to another person?

Yes — you can transfer your tickets to anyone for free straight from the Fever App ("Transfer Tickets" on your ticket).

Can I make a group booking?

If you're looking to book for a large group or arrange a private event (private hires for 30-60 people), please reach out to us via the Alcotraz Sydney group-bookings page.

How long does the experience last?

The experience lasts 1 hour and 45 minutes.

Is there parking available?

Street parking is available, plus several paid parking lots nearby. We highly recommend public transport — we're close to Redfern and Central stations, and multiple bus stops.

Will food and beverage be available on site for purchase?

Your ticket includes 4 rounds of cocktails, beer, wine or mocktails depending on your purchase, and mocktail-ticket holders can upgrade to liquor on the door. Snacks and nibbles are also available for purchase during the experience.

What drinks are included in my ticket?

All inmates receive 4 expertly crafted cocktails or non-alcoholic mocktails, depending on your ticket — cocktails can also be substituted for beer or wine on request.

Is the venue accessible?

Yes, the venue is wheelchair accessible.

Do I need to arrive at the start of my scheduled session?

Please arrive at the time stated on your ticket — late entry isn't permitted.
