Description
In the collective scenes, Las Niñas work around the concept of lipsync and deconstruction of a drag queen, (playback, phonomy, dance), as a common place and axiomatic of the practice. We are offered a particular look at the "transvestite body" from the group point of view, putting at the center the brotherhood, fundamental to raise and maintain a project like this one. Interspersed between the group numbers are performances in which each performer unfolds her personal vision of rootlessness, flight, the search for one's own identity, nostalgia and the need for community, which is what ultimately saves us and keeps us alive. In the end, the individual and the collective merge.
