Ana Lua Caiano explores musical fusion by mixing traditional Portuguese music with electronic music, creating melodies that evoke tradition, in a union with synthesizers, rhythm machines and sounds taken from everyday life. Having been considered a "New Artist" with her first two EPs, Ana Lua Caiano is currently touring with her debut album "Vou ficar neste quadrado" (I will stay in this square). Her music has been recognized both nationally and internationally, having been nominated for the NME Awards and now as "Breakthrough Artist" at the PLAY-Portuguese Music Awards. The new album tour already has more than 60 confirmed dates in Portugal and beyond, and recently, Ana Lua Caiano has been featured in important international media, such as GQ magazine, French newspaper Le Monde, Songlines and also in the print edition of The Wire Magazine.
