El causante is a play that explores the relationship between body and spirit, narrated from the perspective of Matías, a man who is found dead at the beginning of the play. Through a performance in which his spirit reflects on his life, his relationships and his failures, Matías is confronted with the truths he did not want to see in life. The interaction with the audience and the minimalist staging turn this play into an immersive and philosophical experience, in which the spectator questions the weight of material existence and the limits of life.
