We both thoroughly enjoyed the evening of romantic songs/tuned, played very skilfully by the young and very talented string quartet, at Manchester Cathedral on February 13th, 7pm. The setting inside the superb main room of the Cathedral was breathtaking (and the glimpses of all the impressive gothic architecture to the sides as well as far above our heads - and gorgeous colourful stained glass windows - all added enormously to the atmosphere - plus the candle light provided by the hundreds of LED imitation wax lights was especially lovely and made for much charming twinkly prettiness!
All in all, a wonderful evening all round - not just for our eyes and ears but for the general uplifting of our spirits too!
