Yerai Cortés (Alicante, 1995) belongs to a new generation of artists that are taking flamenco to unknown and exciting territories. Despite his young age, he already boasts an impressive career that has seen him collaborate with artists across a wide range of genres—from flamenco innovators and trailblazers to musicians from diverse corners of the world, including Judeline, Ralphie Choo, and C. Tangana. With his new project, “Guitarra Coral”, the young guitarist challenges the boundaries of flamenco, This autumn, Yerai Cortés embarked on his first tour, accompanied by a choir of six “palmeras,” presenting Guitarra Coral in cities such as Cartagena, Barcelona, Cádiz, San Sebastián, and Seville. The tour has been met with resounding success, showcasing his captivating live performance, which is also set to feature at the upcoming Sónar 2025 festival.
