Description
Montreal-born Andy Kim is a living music legend, the creator of such timeless hits as "Rock Me Gently" and "Baby, I Love You". At just 16, he took off for New York, where he enjoyed a string of successes: nine Billboard Top 40 hits and two gold records. Co-writer of the unforgettable "Sugar, Sugar" for the Archies, voted Billboard's song of the year in 1969, he left his mark on hearts and minds. First winner of the JUNO Singer of the Year Award in 1970, Andy went on to sell over 30 million records, consolidating his iconic status. Inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame and the Songwriters Hall of Fame, he continues to inspire and collaborate with artists such as Ed Robertson of Barenaked Ladies. For almost 20 years, he has been bringing fans together for the Andy Kim Christmas Concert, a charity event that has already raised over $2 million for charity.
