On the weekend of October 4th-6th, the city of Segovia will commemorate the 550th Anniversary of the Proclamation of Isabel the Catholic by traveling back to the 15th Century. Through the story presented by Urraca, one of her trusted ladies, accompanied by the music of her royal musician Ortuño (on the harp, hurdy-gurdy or flute), the general public will learn about the importance of Segovia in the past—having held a key place in the life of Isabel and the Catholic Monarchs—as well as the present. Prepare for a fun and entertaining walk through the city's history, featuring events as important as the coronation and marriage of Isabel the Catholic, as well as its connection with the Alcazar and the Concord of Segovia.
