Taking place Thursday, Oct 17th at Chihuly Garden and Glass, this very special night kicks off REFRACT, the nation’s premiere glass art event - now celebrating its 6th anniversary! Ticket includes admission to Chihuly Garden and Glass, reception in the Glasshouse, live glass demos at our Hot Shop, live music, signature cocktails provided by our new Bar, beer and wine selections, a delicious walk-around tasting menu - and a few surprises! Guests will enjoy a festive evening filled with music, glassblowing demonstrations, VIP tours of the Exhibition, walk-around food tastings, signature cocktails, and other special programming to light up the night! Mix and mingle with Seattle’s most prominent glass artists, from small local artists to famous names. You may even see some of the most recent contestants from the hit Netflix show, “Blown Away!” Festival representatives from Visit Seattle Tourism will also be available to help you plan out the Refract event weekend, Oct 17-20. October 17th 7:00pm-9:00pm, doors open at 6:30pm; $55/per person - tickets on sale here! Kicking off our sixth anniversary of Refract, ‘Gather’ with us for the opening night party at Chihuly Garden and Glass! Ignite your curiosity with glassblowing demonstrations from amazing glass artists, VIP tours of Chihuly Garden and Glass, music, hors d’oeuvres, signature cocktails, and other special programming to light up the night. This is the night to connect with the glass art community, from Seattle and beyond– don’t miss it! This is a 21+ event – IDs must be shown at the door. Please note: Re-entry into the Exhibition is not permitted after arrival. Tickets must be purchased online prior to the event. This event is not included in Chihuly Garden and Glass Membership benefits. Refract: The Seattle Glass Experience is a region-wide festival showcasing creative uses of glass in the Pacific Northwest. Hosted by Chihuly Garden and Glass in partnership with Visit Seattle, this event brings together art organizations and artists alike to showcase what makes our glass community so special. Refract programming features more than 90 artists at 70+ events. Events are designed for everyone—from curious newcomers to long-time glass art collectors.
