Perfect venue for this type of performance. It intimate and atmospheric with the candles, fairy lights and all the exposed brickwork of the old silk mill and the artists, the music and setlist was outstanding. Adele would be proud.

On the site of what is largely considered to be the world’s first factory, Derby’s iconic Silk Mill offers a stunning industrial backdrop on the banks of the River Derwent. Displaying a treasure trove of objects, the museum guests to explore, view and create their own journey through 300 years of making.

Where can I find my ticket?
You can find your ticket in the "Tickets" section of the Fever app (you can download it from the Apple App Store or Google Play). Please remember to log in with the same login method used to make the purchase. You'll also find your QR code in your purchase confirmation email.
Can I change my ticket?
Subject to availability, changes of date and/or time are permitted up to 48 hours before the start time of your experience. In such a case, please contact us indicating your ticket ID. Refunds are not allowed under any circumstances. For more information, you can refer to our T&Cs.
How long does the show last?
The show lasts around 60 minutes. Doors open 45 minutes before the show, and no entry is allowed once it has started.
Is the event indoors or outdoors?
The event takes place indoors, with assigned seating.
Is there food or drinks served?
The bar will be open, stocking a variety of alcoholic and soft drinks, bar favourites and local produce.
How do I get to the venue?
The Museum of Making is located at Silk Mill Lane, Derby DE1 3AF. By car, follow the brown signs in the city and county for Derby Silk Mill; offsite parking is available nearby at the Assembly Rooms, Bold Lane and Chapel Street car parks, with parking cards validated at the Museum for a discounted day rate. By bus, Derby city centre is served by frequent Trent Barton and Arriva services, and Derby bus station is a 10-minute walk away along the River Derwent. By bike, the venue sits on cycle routes 6, 54 and 68, and outdoor bicycle parking is available.
Is there parking available?
There is a very limited number of accessible bays at the front of the building, reserved for Blue Badge holders. There are also public car parks nearby, including Sowter Road and The Assembly Rooms.
Is there an age requirement for the event?
All guests must be 8 years old or older to attend. Anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
Can I bring animals?
Animals are not allowed, except for assistance animals.
Does this venue have disability access?
Yes, the venue is fully accessible. The event space is on the ground floor.
Can I take pictures or record videos during the performance?
Photos and videos can only be taken during the final piece and without flash, as indicated by our musicians.
What are the different ticket types?
There's a Premium ticket (Best Visibility), Zone A (Excellent Visibility), Zone B (Good Visibility), and Zone C (Fair Visibility).
Can I book a ticket for my carer?
Guests requiring assistance throughout the experience are entitled to apply for one free pass for their Personal Assistant/Support worker. Please contact us with proof of needing a carer ticket; accepted documents include Middle or Higher rate DLA for care and/or mobility, a Personal Independence Payment (PIP) receipt, evidence of being severely sight impaired, or a CredAbility Access Card (+1 category requirement). Once received, we'll provide you with a voucher code to purchase your free carer ticket, which must be shown together with your ticket to enter the venue and purchased alongside at least one other full-price ticket.
