Description
Teatro Eslava presents LFO #1, the first of a series of events dedicated to exploring the future of electronic music. From ambient, IDM, house to the subgenres of dubstep, synthwave and hyperpop, to new styles such as footwork or amapiano, LFO has room for all the colors of the electronic spectrum. Get ready to discover new gems in the unique setting of Teatro Eslava. For this first edition, we have gathered three projects that stand out for their ability to transcend the limits of electronic music, with jazz as a key influence.

Divorce From New York: Alvaro Granda, known as Divorce From New York, is co-founder of the duo Reykjavik606 and launched his solo career with the album "This Ain't Jazz No More" (Forbidden Colours) in 2021. His music, which has received support from Gilles Peterson (Worldwide FM) and Tom Ravenscroft (BBC 6 Music), fuses jazzy syncopated rhythms with jungle, broken beat and house, using samples of jazz classics. In 2022, his album "Sausalito" was featured on The Line of the Best Fit and BBC6. He has performed at festivals such as Jazztronica (Barcelona) and ESNS Festival (The Netherlands).

Persa Jazz: Under the alias Persa, this Spanish keyboardist, composer and producer has created a fusion that ranges from classic to the most experimental jazz, including soul, hip hop and electro. His album "Persa Jazz 251," released in 2022, and his productions under his own label Caustica Waveform, are clear examples of his versatility and mastery in the creation of new sound.

Letter From C14: This is the musical project of Gonzalo Peña, DJ and producer from Mérida, known for his work with "Mopa," "Disco Chillio" and the record label "Guadianic Beats." With his characteristic lo-fi style, Letter From C14 combines house, soul, jazz, funk, hip hop and breaks to create groove-filled compositions that invite movement and introspection.
