València has emerged as a hub of art and design following its designation in 2022 as the “World Design Capital” and in 2023 as a “City of Design” by UNESCO. Building on this, Turiart is launching a unique and avant-garde cultural experience in collaboration with LAVAC (Association of Contemporary Art Galleries of the Valencian Community). With the aim of inviting residents and visitors to explore the city from a fresh perspective, “València Art & Design Walks” is an innovative tourism route proposal that blends contemporary art, cutting-edge architecture, and design through Valencia’s lesser-known but equally captivating corners. The routes offer art and design walks through the streets and contemporary art galleries of the city, led by art interpreters passionate about conveying the creative essence of València. Additionally, participants will have the opportunity for exclusive encounters with local artists and creators, immersing visitors in Valencian contemporary culture.
