Description

After a tour in the Marines, Mike Eshaq traded his rifle in for a microphone. Eshaq has a unique angle in his comedy, he's an Arab, a United States Marine and a Muslim who can’t stop eating bacon. Eshaq has been a standup comedian for over 10 years and has headlined all across the globe in places like Cambodia, Dubai and even Oklahoma! Recent clubs he's headlined are The Comedy Store LJ, Comedy Castle and House of Comedy to name a few. Some of his acting credits include 'Detroiters' on Comedy Central, 'Grace and Frankie' on Netflix and Station 19 on ABC. Eshaq is also the host of the podcast Public Yemeni No. 1. Eshaq devoted his life to comedy, honing his skills at The Second City Detroit. His passion for comedy extended to filmmaking, directing short comedy sketches such as the award-winning "MTV Cribs - Arab American Style" and "The Ed and Moe Show," a hit web series that took him to Hollywood to produce hit reality shows like "Swamp People." After an intense psychedelic experience in Indonesia and puking his guts out, Eshaq realized it was time to leave TV and go back to comedy. He's been performing standup locally and internationally ever since!
