About the Artist
Hania Rani
Belonging to a generation of young performers who transcend the classical limits of the instrument, pianist, composer, and singer Hania Rani has managed to develop a sound of her own, always from a minimalist and avant-garde perspective that sometimes approaches experimental electronics. Her ability to create soundscapes is also reflected in her work as a composer of soundtracks, among which the series The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart stands out. Distinguished on multiple occasions in the Fryderyk awards -considered the Grammy of Poland, her country of origin-, she has released her latest album, Ghosts, in which she discovers new stories and where collaborations with Patrick Watson, Whispering House and Ólafur Arnalds stand out.
