Kathryn Markel Fine Arts presents Nova Supernova, the gallery’s first solo exhibition with Austin-based abstract painter Meredith Pardue. Meredith Pardue’s source draws inspiration from the natural world that surrounds her. For this, her newest, exhibition she turned to the heavens and translated them into oil paint on canvas. The paintings that resulted are nebular and cosmic; they appear to oscillate within the confines of their picture planes.
