Description
The Royal Palace of El Pardo has been the official residence of foreign heads of state since 1983 and its origins as a royal hunting ground are linked to the Monte de El Pardo. It is a building closely linked to the history of Spain. Commissioned by Emperor Charles V in the 16th century, it is surrounded by Monte de El Pardo, a natural area of extraordinary value, considered the most important Mediterranean forest in the Community of Madrid.
