Description
Alfons Muha was a leading painter in Europe at the turn of the 19th and early 20th
centuries. He was a master of modern illustration and the Art Nouveau style, and a national artist who loved his country. Based on Art Nouveau themes, he elevated various ornaments and household items to an artistic level, creating what has come to be known as the "Muha style." His love for his homeland and roots led him to create the The Slavic Epic, which he completed over 18 years, making him a true master.
