A Night at the Opera is one of London Concertante’s most popular shows.

Featuring four soloists, each singing solo arias as well as duets, trios and quartets, accompanied by a live orchestra, this programme takes you on a journey through some of opera’s greatest showstoppers. The music includes works by Mozart, Puccini, Verdi and Rossini, from operas including The Magic Flute, La traviata, Madama Butterfly, Tosca, Turandot and many more.

Highlights include ‘Largo al factotum’ from The Barber of Seville, the triumphant ‘Toreador Song’ from Carmen, the tender beauty of ‘O mio babbino caro’, and the soaring finale ‘Nessun dorma’, as well as celebrated ensemble moments — from Mozart’s serene trio ‘Soave sia il vento’ from Così fan tutte to Verdi’s dramatic quartet ‘Bella figlia dell’amore’ from Rigoletto.

Whether you are discovering opera for the first time or returning for another unforgettable evening, this programme promises passion, drama, laughter and music that lingers long after the final note.

  • Absolutely brilliant
  • Excellent performances by everyone and a great night out. There was a twelve piece orchestra plus 3 talented singers. Next time I will take a cushion as the seats were a bit uncomfortable!
