Por amor a Gila is an explosion of memories and humor in tribute to the greatest Spanish humorist of all time: Miguel Gila. A re-remembering of the re-membering by the outstanding Argentine theater, film and television actor Rudy Chernicof, a personal friend of Gila. The show features a variety of real anecdotes from the life and profession of Miguel Gila, in Spain and Argentina, where the paths of both comedians crossed. A dinner, and a bet to see who could tell the best humorous story and get out of paying the bill, is the trigger for this laugh-out-loud encounter. It also shows us a little piece of the "Historical Memory of Spain", Gila's role in it and his humorous vision of that part of history.
