Description
Through the four floors of Palazzo Madama, you will take a journey through history. In the basement you will observe the Roman foundations and medieval stones, including sculptures and jewelry. From here you can also reach the medieval garden, an oasis of peace in the heart of Turin. On the ground floor you will find exhibitions dedicated to the 15th-century castle and the art of the Middle Ages and Renaissance. The Baroque rooms, on the first floor, house 17th and 18th century art, with paintings and furniture by Piffetti and Prinotto in richly decorated settings.
