Description
Come to the Navy Planetarium and get closer to the sky, feeling like an astronaut among the stars! The site was opened on July 20, 1965, in honor of the 10th anniversary of Calouste Gulbenkian's death. The Planetarium is part of several national and international projects dedicated to astronomy. Here, we understand the difficulties that sailors of the past faced when navigating the unknown oceans and we study the challenges that today's sailors have in getting to know infinite space.
