Description
The trip will begin in NYC with a spectacular trip along the Metro-North Railroad’s Hudson River Line to Poughkeepsie or you can drive and meet the group at the train station, too. The hosts will pick the group up at 9:40am. After the snowshoeing, the group will stop at a local farm stand for local products and hot chocolate/cider. For lunch, you'll visit the #1 pizzeria in the Hudson Valley, Rino's of New Paltz. Finally, the group will end the day with a visit to Bad Seed Hard Cidery for snacks and samples. You will likely be on the 5:50pm train back home at the latest. The hosts have selected a pristine location for a winter hike that will take you to Awosting Falls at Lake Minnewaska.
