Metus, Latin for fear, is a dramatic work where fear itself comes to speak to us about itself. He wants to claim a vision about himself different from the one we are used to know about him. It aims to make us see who fear really is, why we are afraid, what it means to be afraid, describing its relationship with human beings and its implications. He wants to make us see the reality in which we live thanks to him, hidden before our very eyes, with one goal in mind: that human beings free themselves from him. Metus, deep down, is tired of human beings and will propose strategies and advice so that we can live without them.
