Description
The Paris Army Museum is one of the three largest arms museums in the world. It houses one of the largest collections on the planet combining History and military art. In the Artillery Museum, you will find a permanent collection of artillery pieces dating back to the Revolution. The Dome of the Invalides, which contains the tomb of Napoleon I, was built between 1677 and 1706, and its gilded dome rises over 110 meters into the Parisian sky. In the ancient department, you will discover pieces associated with the main characters in the History of France, from François I to Louis XIII, which will allow you to imagine what the practice of war might have been like in those distant times.
