Description
Home to presidents and emperors, military school and astronomical observatory, Chapultepec Castle is a site of great historical value for the people of Mexico. In addition to this, being in the middle of the beautiful Chapultepec forest, you can enjoy incomparable views of both the surroundings and the Paseo de la Reforma, and when you learn about its history you will admire it even more! You will begin your tour at the Altar of the Fatherland, a monument erected in Honor of those cadets who died in the American invasion. Afterwards, you will continue visiting the National Museum of History and the last stop will be at the Alcázar of the castle, where a reproduction of the residence of Emperor Maximilian and the summer home of Porfirio Díaz is on display.
