Exciting, multimedia and emotional. The true story of the Wall. A must for anyone who wants to understand one of the most dramatic historical events in German history. The audiovisual exhibition spans a dramatic arc from the division of Germany and the building of the Wall, through the Cold War and the fate of the victims of the Wall, to the historical events that led to the fall of the Berlin Wall. On over 100 screens with original film footage from the period from 1945 to 1990! The exhibition deals with the post-war period, the temporary division of Germany by the victorious powers and the resulting hardening of relations between East and West, which ultimately led to the founding of the FRG and the GDR and the first establishment of a wall around West Berlin.
