Lynnewood Hall
Lynnewood Hall, a vast Neoclassical Revival mansion in Philadelphia’s Elkins Park neighborhood, was designed by Horace Trumbauer and completed by 1899. Covering nearly 110,000 square feet with 110 rooms, this limestone estate ranks as the second largest surviving Gilded Age mansion in the U.S., reflecting the ambitions of industrialist Peter A. Widener through its grand scale and classical elegance.
